Safe...thanks to Mike
I have moved apartments and my new walk to campus includes an area known as "rape hill." There is even a sign there that says do not walk alone at night because it is not safe. But what is a girl to do? That is the pathway to my house! Luckily, Mike found a solution for me. Pepper Spray! Yes, I have become one of those women who carry pepper spray with them in their purse! It is almost as good as the buddy system! (I don't think anything bad has happened on the hill for 20 years or something like that, but better safe than sorry!)

Regarding safety, I would suggest that you transfer to a safe church college! (Ahh, ya...)
haha I love it! WHen we moved to Renton, Darren tried to get me to carry pepper spray in my purse too. As a compromise, I walk to my car with my keys already in hand so I don't have to get distracted looking through my purse for them... that way I don't seem as vulnerable... :)
